Type: 5 Round Swiss. CFC rated & FIDE rated for Championship, U-2100 & U-1800. CFC membership is required.
Type: 5 Round Swiss. CFC rated for U-1500, U-1200 and U-900 Junior. CFC membership is required.

Sections: CHAMPIONSHIP, U-2100, U-1800, U-1500, U-1200 and U-900 Junior (Under 18 years)

Entry Options
3 Days – Reg. ends 6pm on Friday. Rounds on Friday 7pm; Saturday 11am & 4pm; Sunday 10am & 3pm.

Time Controls
All Sections  – 1.5 hrs + 30 sec increment

Byes
1/2 points for rounds 1 to 4 (All sections)
The byes MUST be requested in advance, at the latest prior to the end of the previous round.
Only 2 byes allowed

Fair Play

To ensure fair play and comply with FIDE rules regarding anti-cheating rules, we will make changes around the use of electronic devices in the playing venue. We will designate a “Playing Venue” which will include the playing area, rest rooms, refreshment area and other areas designated by the arbiter. NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES (Phones, Laptop computers, tablets, cameras and other devices) ARE ALLOWED IN THE PLAYING AREA. All players and spectators in the playing area MUST NOT BE IN POSSESSION OF ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE.

Rating: The latest highest of CFC / USCF / FQE / (FIDE + 100 pts) to be used.

By registering for our event, you consent and agree to our Notice of Filming & Photography.

Refund Policy: No cash refunds on withdrawal. Credit for equal amount will be given if you notify us of withdrawal on or before February 3, 2020. Credits can be used to register for tournaments and other programs offered by Elevate My Chess. Registration fee will be forfeited if you don’t notify us of withdrawals on or before February 3, 2020. However, consideration for credit will be considered in special circumstances on a case by case basis.
